Butterfly painting

Fold a piece of A4 paper in half, make a crease and open up again. Drop brightly coloured poster paint on one half of the paper. Fold the paper back in half, press the two sides together and open up. You should now have a fantastic butterfly!

Playing

Play a game with bats and balls e.g. french cricket, rounders.

Bouncing balls

See how many times you can bounce a ball. Start with a beach ball, then a football, tennis ball and table tennis ball.

Sorting

Sort big and little shoes, spoons, T-shirts, etc.

Visit the park

Take some bread and feed the birds. Try to see ones which are brown or black or blue. Maybe someone will be sailing a toy boat on the pond. Is it big or little? Is it fast or slow?

Words

Think of words beginning with a little b, e.g. bat, banana, bed.
