Make some playdoh together to play with. You will need
Mix all the ingredients and knead until smooth. Playdoh can be covered and kept in
the refrigerator for later use. It should keep for about a week. If it goes mouldy
or starts to smell funny, throw it in the bin.
Once you’ve made your playdoh, use
it to make things beginning with p, e.g. a penguin, a picnic, or a princess. What
else can you think of?
Cut some potatoes in half. Use a felt pen to draw a square on the flat surface. Cut
away the potato around the square to leave it raised. Now you will need some paper
to print on, a paper plate and some poster paint. Pour some poster paint onto the
plate and press the potato shape onto it. Then press the potato onto the paper to
print a square. You could make patterns using the square and one colour, or you could
use different colours, or make other potato print shapes.
